Hello:

I am a windows xppro user and I was wanting to learn a bit about software
security settings because I may want to implement them on my public company
computers.

I went into the local security setting module of MMC. Then I clicked on the
folder named "Software Restriction Policies".

I got the defalut window message stating "No Software Restriction Policies
Defined". It went on to say if I wanted to create new policies go to action
and click create new policies. I did that.

Now I get a list of policies. I do not want to make any changes just wanted
to explore so I could learn more about this part of windows. I will assume
all the listed policies are the default windows settings since I did not
change anything.

What I would like to know however, is there a way to revert this window back
so I would get the original message stating no software restriction policies
defined when I highlite that folder or do I just need to leave as is until I
decide to create policies if I ever do?

Thanks
Vince
