Hello, I am currently running Windows 7 64-bit and id like to downgrade because ive been told 64-bit uses more ram and id like less cacheing so i can use more of my ram. is it a good idea to downgrade? or is there something else i should do to improve performance. these are my specs; http://s1131.photobucket.com/album [...] =specs.png

The difference really isn't worth worrying about... if you have 4GB or more RAM, then you lose the use of anything more than ~3.5GB of RAM. The extra overhead of running 32-bit software in a 64-bit OS isn't significant and is easily compensated for when you run 4GB or more.

How much RAM do you currently have installed?
