Scheduled tasks

I cannot seem to schedule Norton AntiVirus Scan as a scheduled task. I
always get message that I do not have authority to schedule. The SECURITY
TAB for the task shows ALLOW, FULL CONTROL for System, Administrator, and
User-ID. What else do I need to do?

Windows XP Professional, SP2.

The procedure referred to by Carey Frisch is what I used to set up the
schedule.

The task gets listed in the task manager, but never runs. When I display
the task under task manager, it looks ok, but asks me to set a password.
When I set the password, I am told I do not have authority to schedule the
task. The security tab shows full control is allowed to system,
administrator and user. I cannot seem to get past this point.

You do not have to setup a separate scheduled task to run a scan.
Just set your scheduled time within the Norton program and it will run.
