Further to my last query about installing 'Packard Bell' OS onto new non PB
system.
Can I extract the bundled software from a Win98 (PB install cd) onto an XP
system?
This will have dramatic effect on the cost of software for new system. For
example: If we have an MS Word license (read Ms Word installed) we can
purchase the Works Suite 2003 CD for a reasonable £28.50
contains:
Microsoft Word 2002, Works 7.0, and Money 2003
Picture It! Photo, Encarta Standard 2003, & AutoRoute 2002

Now that I have heard is possible. Look in http://www.google.com under
Groups look under this group and search on Extracting Files from a PB
Restore CD. I think Anthony and Simon as well as Velix (that I can
remember) explained the process.
