There won't be a HL movie. That was confirmed by Valve many years ago.

Besides, such a movie wouldn't be particularly interesting with the lead
character being a mute.

I don't think so. They are both female and cute, and that's where the
resemblance ends.
The first time I saw the screenshot of Alyx and Gordon together it made me
think of Lara Flynn Boyle. The problem is Lara would have to add a few
pounds to her anorexic frame to have Alyx's nice bod. She did look hot in
MIB 2 though.

I think that must have been the general idea, since I can't see any resemblance.

However, I do think that Dr. Judith Mossman looks a lot like Scottish actress
Phyllis Logan, who older Brits may remember from 80s telly, e.g. Lovejoy. I
expect she's getting on a bit now.
