administative password

hey mate:as i try to access xp pro recovery console i'm asked for
administative password.i can't remember what i chose.so can anyone explain
how i can find what it is or how change to a new one.this is not the same
password as for the desktop,i created it when i installed the os.

Open Group Policy
Start\ Run GPEDIT.MSC
Local Computer Policy\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security
Options\Recovery Console: Allow Automatic Administrative Logon > Enable
