Content advisor turned on... noone did it.

My son's friend's family is running XP and has found they can't surf the net
at ALL because the internet security has been turned all the way up and noone
can get into Content Advisor because it's now password protected, though
NOONE knows HOW or what it would be.

How can this be disabled? What's the work-around to remove password
protection if that's the only way? What about editing the registry and
putting IN a known password that would work?

Help?

Contact the person who set the password.
Windows XP did not set one by itself.
Usually a responsible parent sets one.
Ask Mom or Dad.

Thanks for the reply. I already got a reply on how to remove the password
from the registry. I guess I didn't write it clear enough to be understood.
Noone set the password. NOONE, includeing the parents knows what it is or HOW
it got set. I don't know if they updated something and it happened, but even
the parents have no clue.
