Can anyone confirm whether either or both of the following Bluetooth
transceivers will work with Pocket PC devices to synch and provide IE
passthrough?
1. Microsoft's transceiver as supplied with the Microsoft Intellimouse
Explorer for Bluetooth or the Microsoft Optical Desktop for Bluetooth.
2. Logitech's BT wireless hub as supplied with the Logitech Cordless
Desktop MX for Bluetooth or the Logitech diNovo Media Desktop.

The Microsoft one certainly doesn't. I have heard that the Logitech does,
but I recommend that you check it first.

The Logitech will will work. It's using stack (currently) Widcomm 1.4.
The Microsoft should work if you're using Windows XP SP2. Remember that SP2
is still (at this time) at Release Candidate stage, and removing it may
leave some Bluetooth things behind.

At the moment, the Microsoft BT will not work on the PDA, different "flavor"
of BT, but there is a chance some new drivers will let it work if you are
running Windows XP.
The Logitech works fine, it and my Ipaq 4355 locked right up together. I am
using the regular Logitech Cordless Desktop MX BT version that had been out
for sometime, I do not know about the diNovo series.
