can anyone out there help me? i have two 80 gig hard
drives the first one has my OS on it which i can make
secure but i want to put files and folders onto my second
drive but i can't find out how to make them private as
the second drive is visible to other account users on
this machine

uh, first, make sure that you have the user accounts set up to be private.
but realize that windows is only recently acting truly multi-user, and this
may not be totally possible.

the other alternative is to encrypt your own files.

Beware of the Turing Tar-pit in which everything is possible but
