On the Cingular website it shows the 6340i as being the only Nokia phone
that is available for Fast Forward. But when you look at the features for
the 6200 it lists "Fast Forward Capable" and there is a cradle listed under
accessories.
Anyone have a clue to the real truth?

You don't need at FastForward cradle to use that feature. Cingular does not
tell you but just the following is what the cradle does:

Simply program these numbers into your phone:
To activate: *21*area_phone# then SEND
To cancel: ##21# SEND

BTW, you can FastForward to any number in USA free of charge and airtime
with FF.

Do you still need the feature added to your account?

Yes, you have to add the FastForward feature to your account. Otherwise,
you'll be charged for the forwarded calls. $2.99/month is a bargain. But
if you have combined billing with SBC DSL or wireline, that feature is free.

You mean if I have the FF feature on my wireless plan, that I can
forward to a number outside of my local area code and it will not
deduct minutes from my plan ?

I was under the impression that I can only forward to a LOCAL number
(i.e. number with the same area code as my mobile).
