ATI RADEON kills HP 2025 using 1600x1200 on DVI

As the heading says, my HP 2025 20" LCD doesn't manage to show
1600x1200 when connecting to the DVI. Using analog D-sub shows this
resolution fine. Also using DVI on another computer (Geforce FX5200)
works fine with 1600x1200.
I guess the problem is that in the display section of the ATI-tools,
the FPD properties shows max refresh rate 85Hz at 1600x1200, whereas
the FX5200 computer uses 60Hz at 1600x1200 (as does the ATI's analog
output). So, how do I limit the refresh rate on the FPD?

Use the Display Properties/Advanced/Adapter/List all modes (button): Select
1600*1200@60 Hertz

This works for me.
