MSN 6 will not Uninstall after SP2 installed

After installing SP2 I cannot use Change\Remove for MSN 6 in Control
panel\AD&Remove Programs. I get the following message

An ActiveX control on this page is not safe.
Your current settings prohibit running unsafe controls on this page.
As a result, this page may bot display as intended.

I cannot see how this is due to security settings.
It has been suggested that the error may be caused by the AIM virus but I
have fully scanned my system for for virus, spyware and adware and itr seems
clean.

I would be greatful for help.
