After combing through thousands of pages of documentation on customizing
security templates i decided to give it a shot. I entered in some values
into the sceregvl.inf file (like edisabling CDROM autorun) and then followed
the instructions of saving the file, installing the file, and regsvr32
scecli.dll. No errors came up in this process, so I assumed everything was
going great. Boy was I wrong.

Now for some reason I cannot enumerate ANY security options, as in Security
Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options. Everything I check says the
same thing: There are no items to show in this view.

I can check GPOs in the GPMC, open templates, or browse to Local security
Policies all with the same result. What did I nuke/set and how do I get back
to normal? I've tried restoring the sceregvl.inf from another "untouched"
Win XP SP2 computer, but I get the same result.

Many thanks.

Zach
