hello

my friend installed nortons Anti Virus 2003 recently and is having
problems with one specific update..('common client') she went to the
symantec site which recommends to uninstall-re-install nortons as supposedly
a corrupt file. she tried 3 times ,still same problem any suggestions please?
she is running XP home Edition.
here is the error message she recieves when up date fails..

Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2

Common Client Core 1.0.2

LiveUpdate was not able to complete this update.

Please contact Technical Support and provide all information displayed on
this screen.
For contact information, go to Help->Technical Support from your Symantec
product.
