I need to benchmark a video card. Specifically, I need to do UT 2003, Tomb Raider, Battlefield 1942, and Solidworks 2003. I own Solidworks 2003, but don't know how to run a benchmark with it. If I need to purchase the games to run the benchmarks...I'll "borrow a copy somewhere".
I posted in here because the people of this forum seem to be most familiar with Tom's benchmarking practices. So I need:
1.) Instructions on setting up benchmark mode for these programs
2.) Any links to required software
3.) Any other recommendations you might have, including other benchmarks I might need to run.

Perhaps, but are there any reputable sites I can find it at?

If you want strictly openGL benchies...pm daveperman. He's got a website that uses strict openGL and nothing else with some benchies there. As far as where else the hard0cp bench is used, I've only seen it on their site.

I looked around OCP site and didn't find a link. I noticed their links page didn't have a link to THG however.

Well I answered you in the Graphics section, but just to add;
SPEC has all their benchies (alot of them) at their site (HUGE downloads).
For [H] you have to actually go into a Graphics card review, and then all the links to the benchmarks are there. Here's the Link to the UT2K3 Benchmarking ARTICLE from [H].
Also the Guruof3D has alot of benchmarks for download including Vupline for OGL and a bunch of other (I think they have UT2K3)
CodeCreatures is availible for free but surprisingly not from their own site (just use google where I'm sure you'll find tons of stuff).
Lemme know what you are trying to test and I can tell you where to find some other benchmarks/demos.

Thanks, any clue as to how to benchmarke Solidworks 2003 like Tom's does?

Found one place of interest on it:

but I don't think the 2003 benchmark utility is out yet....at least that is the feeling I get from reading things a bit...I guess you may be able to use the 2001 benchmark as there are plenty of links to that download. Hope this helps.
