Hey out there,
I just switched from Palm to Outlook Pocket PC 2003.
Two questions:
1. The Outlook sync whether in Exchange environment whether in local
syncs just the main contact-folder and not the sub-folders...
Is there a way to do that ????
2. File-sync: There's a special Folder called "Pocket_PC My Documents"
on my desktop. And the PDA just syncs files, that are stored in this
folder... before on the Palm it was possible (with "documents to go" ) to
sync files from all over the network stored in different folders.
Is there a way to do that ????

On the file sync question, if you open active sync on the desktop, click
options, highlight the file sync and click settings, it gives you a list of
files in the "Pocket_PC my files" folder. there is also a button to "ADD"
with this, you can add any file on your PC to be synced.

The problem with that is it copies that file to your \my
documents\pocket pc documents folder, so any changes made to the
original are not sync'd, nor are any changes to the file on the PPC
sync'd to the original.
Sort of a misleading dialog box IMHO.

No prob. Actually, I *didn't* know that was available and thought you
had pointed me to a really cool new feature in the 2003 devices. :-)
Testing it out though dashed my hopes.
