I am thinking of upgrading my mother board, Which has two number
256mb 266 PC2100 DDR memory installed, Does any one know what size
memory, I can upgrade to, ie, 2700, 3200

Just checked the manual for my Dads A7A266 board
(not E) and it takes PC1600 and PC2100 - no mention of anything faster. I
don't think PC3200 (if it ran) would be a significant upgrade anyway - If
you're a serious gamer then swap one or both of those sticks for 512mb
PC2100.

Are you upgrading to the Asus board? Or upgrading from the Asus board?
Sticking two sticks of 266Mhz DDR in a newer board will work, but will also
limit your memory bus to close to the rated 266Mhz speed. I wouldn't go
lower than PC3200 DDR myself.
