yes it will run fine. you may want to run at the settings it detects but it
shuld be fine.

I have a similar system:

P4 1.8 gHz
1 gig RAm
9600xt

The game chose medium settings and I have no problems/complaints.
Runs fine.

run mine at 800 x 600, medium with 2 x aa, runs fine but still saving for a
9800 pro

My 9800XT runs the HL2 leak pretty well at 1600x1200 with 4xAA & 8xAF!
