Windows XP updates fail to install

I'm running WinXP Pro on all the PC's at my workplace and they are running
SP2. My question is that there are 11 updates that fail to install on all the
PC's I try to get updates with. The web says that the updates are failing
because I'm not agree'n to the EULA. The EULA doesn't even open up when I
click on install updates. I go to the windows updates site click on search
for updates, it finds the updates, I click on install updates and then it
starts downloading them never asking to agree to anything then the updates
fail one after the other. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Option to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA) is
unavailable for Windows Update

"You did not accept the license agreement for this item" error message
when you download updates from the Microsoft Windows Update Web site

The resolution did not correct the issue, I have currently 7 PC's with winxp
some w/sp1 and some w/sp2 and when I click on windows update it does find the
updates needed then I click on install that's when I should get prompted to
agree to the EULA but it never pops up it automatically starts to download.
It even happens on PC with a clean windows install.

How do they connect to Internet?

I had a similar situation and narrowed it down to the Microsoft secure web
page for updates was not getting through the router/DSL configuration we
had.

Believe it or not ..... and I had problem believing this also at first, the
MTU size in the router had to be set to optimum size and then secure web
pages (and some web side server functions) would work.

How do they connect to the Internet?

Everyone at my company uses proxy settings and by default we set up all PC's
with the auto detect settings disabled and we still don't get the EULA pop
up.
