I have recently upgraded my pda to an Ipaq 2210.
I upgraded to Outlook XP and annoyingly it does not mailmerge with Word
2000.
Now the problems start with ActiveSync
I get a dialogue box advising me that a network connection cannot be made
and telling me to reboot. (Rebooting makes no difference.)
I get another dialogue box saying Server busy
Inbox Microsoft Outlook is not responding Choose "Switch to" to rectify the
problem. It goes away if I choose Switch to but don't understand what is
going on.
Some of my Calendar items won't sync. I get a message:
A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose No.
If I choose No the problem persists and the dialogue box keeps popping up.
My system is protected by an active and up to date Norton Antivirus. I
downloaded a trial Pocket PC Antivirus from Norton and it finds nothing.
Oh yes - and Notes never sync. It just says there is a problem. Rebooting
and doing it all again does nowt.
Is there anyone out there that can help? What is going on?

I would first try running a ScanPST on your data file. It will
probably be in c:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033.
If that doesn't help, open Outlook XP and run Help|Detect & Repair,
then reinstall ActiveSync from www.pocketpc.com
If that doesn't do the trick, you might need to move your data to a
new PST file - especially given the Notes sync problem. See
