Ive been looking for awhile for a way to password protect certain folders in
my computer. Ive seen it done with excel files but does anyone know how i
could make it so to access anything in a folder one needed a password?

Windows XP does not have the capability to password-protect
an individual file or folder. Instead, read the following:

Like Win2K, WinXP's file security paradigm doesn't rely on, or allow,
the cumbersome method of password protection for individual
applications, files, or folders. Instead, it uses the superior method
of explicitly assigning file/folder permissions to individual users
and/or groups.
