Hello.
I have now installed a wireless 11Mbps.
But the problem isn't new. I've allways have this "problem", I remeber this
since my first network YEARS ago.
I could never see more than 20 o 25 % of network speed.
I happens with a 10Mbps., a 100Mbps and the wireless 11Mbps!
Whenever I check network activity with the taskman, it's allways below
30%!!!!
When I'm trasnferin a file from one PC to another!
I have had direct connections with twisted pairs, I have had a 10Mbps HUB,
and now I have a Wireless router. And ALLWAYS the same.
Is it a problem, or is it just like that on any system???
Thanks.

It is unlikely that one or two or three computers on a small LAN like is
found in the home will use the full bandwidth unless you are streaming video
and audio and other large files. Transferring normal files (pictures,
documents, etc) will normally use only a fraction of the bandwidth.

I get the same even when I do transfer large files, just put it down to
being like that because 'it's the way it is'
