I recently set up a wireless home network using a Linksys system. Everything is working great, but sometimes when I check my connection, I notice that there is another signal being picked up by my computer. Does this mean that they are also picking up my signal and possibly have access to what is on my computer?
How do I keep neighbors from getting into my wireless network?
Thanks,
Michael

You will need to set a SSID (Service Set ID) and I would recommend not
broadcasting it. You also NEED to change the default administrator password,
this is very easily found out on the web for all types of wireless systems,
then you need to setup a WEP key on the access point, this WEP key also
needs to be placed on your workstation. The documentation that came with
your Linksys has very good documentation.
