Hi
the system has 64mb ram. i want to upgrade to at least 128 for internet
access although if even higher is beneficial might as well?
Can i buy 128 and put it in? does anyone know if the PC has two slots
or not?
if it does do both memories have to be the same size?
any help would be very appreciated...
cheers
Trish

it is probably a really old machine by the sounds of it

you should pop the shell of and have a look for the slots

i would imagine it is using PC100 SDRAM (100MB/s)

to give you some idea how old that is

the fastest ram i have seen now is PC6700 (6.7 GB/s) DDR SDRAM, the most
common is PC3200 (3.2 GB/s)DDR SDRAM

i found this page

http://www.memoryx.net/club80.html

2 Slots each can hold a max of 256MB by the looks of it

but it seems you are definately looking for 168-pin PC100 SDRAM
