Six years since Win98's release, never seen this before:
Tried playing a game called 18 Wheels of Steel: Pedal to the Metal. (It's a
damn truck-driving game that actually uses OpenGL ARB2 extensions...)
Whenever I launch the game, it sets my refresh rate to 60 Hz. After I finish
playing and exit, my desktop remains at 60 Hz. A reboot brings the rate back
to my normal 100 Hz.
This being Win98, I don't see a "refresh rate override" thing in the
Catalyst driver panels. How do I force the refresh rate to 100 Hz? The
monitor is capable of it, and I run the game at the same res. as my desktop.

It can therefore be said that politics is war without
bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed."
