Can anyone reommend a replacement fan / heatsink & fan for my 9600xt
as the stock fan is very noisy, and I expect it to fail soon. I am
wary of damaging the board in the removel/replacement process.
TIA.

Yes
Using it on my Powercolor 9600Pro Bravo after the fan became noisy. I only
run it on slow fan speed and it is nice and quiet. Took a little bit of time
and effort to install (used Artic Silver paste, not what it came with) but
as long as it continues to be quiet I am happy. Takes up the PCI slot down
from AGP.

Now if only I could quieten down my 4 HDDs I would have almost a silent PC
:-)
