All,

Trying to set up a wireless network on two desktop machines; OS for both
machines is Windows XP. Using Linksys cable modem, wireless router (WRT54G)
and wireless card (WPM54G.) After installation of card, had good signal
strength and could access the internet. After running XP's networking
wizard (in order to share the printer and files,) could no longer access the
internet from the machine with the wireless card--but the status indicator
does confirm the card is receiving a signal from the router even though it
is weak. In addition, no network connection between the two
machines--cannot "see" the other machine and the machine with the wireless
card cannot find my printer. I have Symantec Personal Firewall, but the
networking tool cannot find a network. And the problem persists even if I
disable the firewall. Any suggestions where I could start to troubleshoot
my networking woes? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Bruce
