I have a pair of Sweez, plug'n'play, USB speakers which used on an old XP system, I just upgraded to a Windows7 rig and they have stopped working. The OS recognizes them as speakers but nothing plays.
What can I do?
Thanks.

I have seen quite a few people with this problem. Try going to the sound drop down from control panel. Make the usb speaker the default device and click the properties button. Under 'enhancements' make sure the 'disable enhancements' button is checked then click okay. Speaker should work.

Also, check out this site for some more great information:

I hope this helps!

I couldn't find it in the Control Panel this time, I unplugged & plugged them again but a 'USB dvice not recognized' notification showed from my task bar. I had the same problem occasionally on my XP. - I just left it a while & it seemed to straighten out after a while.
[When I started this thread it was recognized as speakers, but when I tried to 'test'them in the contrl panel. It 'failed'.]
