No problems with mine sorry, all of the "old" tabs were replaced and you
just get a button that launched the CCC anyway.
I removed the CCC, it just seemed to be a memory hog for 2 extra settings,
and slowed things down.

Memory hog? I'm not sure which program in the task list it is, but there
doesn't seem to be anything in there at all that uses up too much memory,
after all 1% of 1Gig is still only 10Megs! And as for slowing things down;
again I don't really see how, unless you have a very slow CPU or very little
Ram to start with?

Thanks for all the help.... Turns out it was mainly a power issue...
I got used to seeing 3 way molex connectors and left one unattached.
Doh..... Kept crashing hard because it was not getting enough juice..
Anyway did as advised, plugged it in, put in XP SP2, loaded the ATI
suite and no problems.... Tried being clever and installed the ASUS
smartdoc and enhanced driver thinking the power connector was the only
issue.... got blue screen of death saying atidiag.... is in infinite
loop... anyway removed ALL the ASUS stuff and its working like a
dream...
Thanks again and cheers,
Cliff
