Help! I'm stuck.

Got HL2 yesterday and was blown way by the graphics, but I've just made it
about an hour into the game and got stuck and can not figure out where to go
from here.

I got the crowbar and whacked the two goons in the hallway that were messing
with that girl. So now I have a pistol and I run up the stairs, go outside
and jump across the train to the otherside. I shoot it out with a few more
goons and that's it. There's nowhere to go. So I have been going back and
forth, down the tracks, up the tracks, piling things up tiring to get over
the fence but can't make it.

How do you get out of here?

Search a little more. There is a way out.

If you get too much help this soon, it's not as fun.

It took me a while to find the way too. IIRC, you run out of the building, then
around it to the left and back towards the railway line. There is a damaged bit
of fence that you can climb over here.

Climb the ladder half way. Jump on the train and go till the next ladder on
the other side.
