p4 1.7
asus p4b
768meg pc133 ram
win xp pro
ati 9600xt
ati 4.9 cat drivers and omega 4.9 drivers
NEC fp1350x 22" monitor

Doom 3 demo runs and looks great with cat 4.9 drivers at 800x600 with med.
or high settings.

Problem is with the option screens, that seem very blurry. Same with the pop
up screens in the game and the PDA.

Swithched to omega 4.9 drivers same problems. Also the omega drivers seem to
have less performance than the ati cat drivers, very laggy.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Jeff

if you turn on the high setings it turns on AA automatically and that looked
very blurry on my 9600XT. i run at 800x600 on medium settings and get about
40fps in timedemo. cat 4.8

Go to Graphics properties or CCC, click advanced and select 3d settings.
change the texture pref and mipmap detail to high and this will make the
text on the menu's and load up screens sharper.

Warty
