Yo.... I've just bought Halo (for the PC, obviously) and the mouse control is a bit crap... It's like it's set up with mouse accelleration or something, which I find extremely annoying in a 3d game.. e.g. if I move the mouse slowly 1" to the right, the viewpoint will move perhaps 90 Degrees, but if I move it quickly over that 1", it'll spin round something stupid like 270 degrees.

The higher the resolution I run in, the more pronounced the problem is. I have had this on a few other games in the past, but this is the first new game with this issue I've encountered.

I can't see it being simply a performance problem, as it's still fairly smooth, FPS-wise, although the fact it gets better at lower settings would indicate otherwise.

My rig is a XP1700+ @ 2.25Ghz, 512Mb DDR400 @196Mhz, & a Leadtek Geforce4 Ti4600, so I shouldn't have any problems running fairly high settings. Mouse is a M$ Intellimouse optical plugged into a PS2 port.

Got Intellimouse 3.1 S/W installed, and Accelleration is OFF in control panel.

No other problems ATM.

Well this is going to be the back half of my sig. for you! (Not really!)

I'm running such a close system to you, that it's not funny. I don't have Halo though & can't give you advice on that game, dam.

You've got the Intelieye mouse drivers installed correctly, I know you know what your doing there.

Have you tried a ball mouse to see if it's the MS mouse or not?

Dazzle them with Brilliance, or Baffle them with BS!
