sign on requires password

hi - evertime i power on, the welcome page requires a password. didnt used to
be this way but a relavive of mine made changes in explorer that required a
password. i am try to figure out how to bypass the password prompt and go on
to the desktop. in user accounts there is no "click here to save password"
for pc. if you have run into this please reply........

You can use the following steps to enable automatic logon:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type: control userpasswords2 , and then click OK.
3. In the dialog box that appears, clear the "Users must enter a user name
and password to use this computer" check box, and then click OK.
