How to set 256 color for AIW 8500?

Is 256 color available from AIW 8500? I have a software requires 256
color. but I only find high color and true color in Display Property.

THats Windows for you. Create a shortcut for the program then go to the
shortcut properties, click on the compatibility tab and you'll see a
checkbox for "Run in 256 colors".
