the 9600pro is defenatly a better card then the fx5600.
as far as running far cry at high res you can probly pull it off with
overclocking the card but game play is gona be way to slow in some areas.
your best bet is to get a 9800pro for around $150 or so.
i can barley run far cry at high settings with a overclocked 9700pro at
1024x768 res with everything set ot high it slows done in some areas big
time.
you might as well get a good card like the 9800pro or if you just have to
get nvidi get the fx 5900 so it will hold up for a year or so in todays
games
