Log on problems on Domain workstations

I have a workstation that will not log on using any of the known passwords. I
have tried to log on locally in safe mode with the administrator logon but it
too fails to log on. Any help?

Unfortunately there is no network admin available and I am who this problem
got dumped on. I have previously been able to correct the problem by logging
onto the local computer. Here in lies the problem. When this system was set
up, evidently they set the local administrator password to the same as the
domain. When trying to log on locally I think it is still trying to log on to
the domain. What I am looking for is if there is a way to log on locally when
the usernames and passwords are identical to the domain log on info.

Yes, I have tried a blank password on the administrator account both in safe
mode and in normal mode.
