When I connect a mp3 player via the usb port, I get the found new hardware
wizard. The wizard wants to install drivers for an MTP device and it starts
searching, internet, cd, does not matter, but fails and it says the service
did not respond to start or control request in a timely fashion. I have
tried the following: At the cmd prompt I tried: net stop umwdf it says the
service is not started net start umwdf it says the service is starting the
service cannot be started the service did not report an error.
