Radeon 9800 Pro for 329 bucks should i get it ?

It's 329 dollars Australian, and the brand is GigaCube,

GC-R9800-PRO-C3-XTREM-128) Gigacube ATI 9800 Pro 128MB 256-bit DDR,
400 MHz Core and 700 MHz Memo.. all the info :)

Or should i go for a X800 pro or 6800 GT ?

My system is a Mobile barton 2500 at 2.5ghz ?, pc 3200 ram.

Not upgrading to a 64bit cpu till they release dual core cpus, so
would an X800 ect be wasted on my system or shoudl i go for the 9800
pro ?

Any help would be great, upgading from a 9600 Pro :)

Thanks.

even the 6800 beats the 9800Pro in almost every benchmark..the choice..old
technology or new..hmm..go new for sure..am going to replace my 9600XT with
a 6800

Hi TOG,

I had a MSI 9800Pro and it died after 3 weeks, swapped it for a Leadtek 6800
plain and AU$100, best thing I ever did, these cards scream. Even if you pay
more it is worth it and it will last a lot longer, I also note that the TV
out is much better on the Nvidia card.

Cheers.
