I am getting this error when trying to install either 4.9, 4.10 or 4.11
drivers in XP for a 9800XT Pro.

Anyone else ?

Nope. But entering that error code in google brings up a whole bunch
of other ppl with the same error, for various different reasons, and
loads of suggested fixes.

I was having the same problem, but I've sorted it myself now, with
help from:

http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108167#invalid

I discovered that there was no Desktop folder in C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\ and no registry key pointing to it. I created the
folder and key and then restarted the PC. Once I'd done this the
installaion worked as expected.
