My computer cannot detect my dvd or cd drive.

Hi guys,
I have a big problem. My computer cannot detect my dvd or cd drive.
My computer screen appears without any DVD or cd drive icon. Do i have to install driver or something else. my laptop HP Pavilion dv6-2130ee Entertainment Notebook PC PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

GO into your bios and activate the sata slots where the dvd and other driveare on and then reboot your computer!
