Omega Drivers: http://www.omegadrivers.net/
or
Catalyst: http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html

I prefer Omega myself...

How about downloading the latest non-CCC Catalysts
from www.ati.com for starters?

The real question I should have asked is:

Why is there different drivers other than the one ATi offer anyway??

Do the other perform better? If they do, can I expect more FPS in games or
what do I expect to improve?

I don't think that the 3rd party tweaked drivers perform
dramatically much better in games. But as I've heard they
may include some bug fixes so they may work better for
some people instead of official drivers. Plus, Omegas
have soft-modding option like 9500 -> 9700.

I don't have problems using official 4.11's on my 9600pro,
tried current Omegas once and they seemed to be tricky
to get working correctly. Installed twice, tried everything
but AGP stayed in OFF-mode and drop in performance
was noticeable.
