Can a Toshiba Satellite Pro 440 CDX be upgraded at all?Can a newer CPU be installed? Or a CDRW or DVD drive?

More memory and a larger harddrive is about all the upgrade you can do. I think a cd-rw and dvd are hotswapable, but your low-end cpu probably can't handle it. Too bad you can't upgrade the CPU.

does it have a multibay? if so it can be pulled out and replaced. mother board spec's will let you know if it can be upgraded?
