According to a web search, these are used for switching between PAL/NTSC.
I've always assumed that meant the default mode, the standard used when the
PC is booted.

However, I've tried all permutations of the two switches and it makes no
difference, it continues to boot in NTSC mode (which isn't what I want). Any
thoughts?
