Bent pins on Kodak DC215 CF socket

Sorry to hear that you have bent pins, it is regrettable.

Replacing that socket is probably not worth the effort. You will have to
disassemble the camera, get another part, and reassemble. The camera should
be calibrated to make sure it is in order. If you do not have the tools it
can be an even greater problem. Rather, I would either seek another camera
on the internet, i.e. eBay, or the like, use the camera in the Kodak Tradein
program, or try straightening the pins with needle nose plyers. If they are
not broken off, you may be able to stand them up so the camera will again
accept a card? I have done that on some of my cables and once with a
monitor. A little easier to do in the latter, but it might be possible?

Check with the Kodak website in the UK for details on the tradein program
they may offer.
