Everyone here has been so helpful in the past... I hope someone can help me now. I just bought a Broadxent V.92 modem, and when I put it in one of my PCI Slots... my system won't boot up. The lights come on, but that's it. I've already tried moving it to another PCI slot and disabling the on-board modem in the bios... but now I'm stumped. Can anyone help me??

can u try the modem in another computer. it could be a bad modem and its locking up the motherboard. since it does it in all pci slots that should rule out the motherboard being bad. Do the other pci cards(if any) work fine? if it works fine in another computer then iam stumped also.
