I just bought an ATI All in Wonder 9600XT card and I want to install it on
my Athlon 64 system which has an Asus K8V-X motherboard. On the side of the
9600xt box, it states that AGP 8x is 0.8v and agp 4x is 1.5v.
Now in the K8V-X manual it states, and I quote: "The accelerated graphics
port (agp) slot supports AGP 8x/4x (1.5v) cards. When you buy an AGP card,
make sure that you ask for one with +1.5v specification."

Does this mean (a) This card will only work at 4x speed on my machine or (b)
won't work at all and could damage my system? There is no setting in my bios
to set AGP to 0.8v

Thanks in advance
