Hey
Since I bought ATI Radeon 9200 SE my MS Word 2003 stoped working, and
whole computer crashes. I hate when my machine crashes and it didn't
do it from ages. I have the newest drivers from ATI, I also tried
Omegadrivers but they are not for me. Please tell me what can I do ?
No BIOS changes helped. Maybe some older drivers from ATI works in a
good way ? Anybody solved that problem ?
My config :
Motherboard : ECS ( elitegroup ) P4VXASD2+
CrashCard : ATI Radeon 9200 SE 128MB
Processor : PIV
OS : WinXP with SP2 and all updates
Please tell me that not only way to have Word working again is to come
back to Nvidia.
Jarod

It's necessary to do a complete removal of all traces of the Nvidia drivers
from your system. Uninstall the ATI drivers and boot with the XP generic
video driver. Then go manually searching for and deleting all Nvidia video
driver files and registry entries. Then reboot and install the ATI
catalysts. If you run an Nforce m/b, be careful not to hose the Nvidia
Nforce drivers. There's plenty of web advice on how to do this.
