Have Metro stay up on one screen and desktop on another?

I recently upgraded to Windows 8 and finally got most of my settings running after a couple of hours. I was wondering if anyone knows how to keep one screen as Metro and locked on that screen while the other screen is on desktop/ old looking windows.

I can get metro on one screen and desktop on the other but I want the metro to stay locked on and not dissappear the second I do anyting on my other screen.

I have been able to run a metro app and leave it up while I go to the desktop on another monitor. That works like you would expect.

I have not been able to do exactly what you say: bring up the Tile screen then click on the desktop on the other screen without the tile screen switching to a desktop view. I can see the tile screen with alt+ tab but it is reduced when I release the keys.

I think this is expected and have not seen a setting to change how this works.

Well that sucks. I would have liked to run both. Hopefully someone can make an edit of some sort or MS will change it.
