Radeon 9700PRO tv-out problem

Hi!
I own a ATI Radeon 9700Pro whose tv-out connector has been malfunctionig
for about 8 months now.
The problem is that the card won't recognise the Tv when it is connected
resulting in me not being able to set any output options to get the
picture to TV.
Here's what I tried:1.Different cables >not functioning
2.The 'force detection of TV'> same as above
3.I tried connecting the computer directly to TV
without a monitor but the card still won't send
any signal
4.I tried multiple Driver sets including Catalyst
4.7, 4.8, 4.10,4.12 ,5.1 and Omega 4.8 and 4.10b.
Can anyone help me?
The warranty for the card lasts for 2 more weeks so I'm trying to find
out if this is a hardware or software problem.

btw.besides this little problem the card runs perfectly.
