nVidia nForce 2 and aiw 9700 pro tv sound problem

Hi all,

I have just bought this AIW 9700 pro which is installed on my nvidia
nforce 2 motherboard. I am using the latest drivers for both and am
using the onboard sound card (in which the sub woofer is connected to
the mic hole, front speakers to the output and rear speakers to the
line-in hole for surround sound) Therefore, when I connect the AIW's
line out, I have to disconnect the rear speakers, but that's fine for
me.

My problem is that when I start the tv software, I hear a short burst
of normal sound and then it all turns quiet and I have to turn the
volume on the speakers to the max to hear the tv sound.

An interesting thing is that, even if I unplug the AIW's line out, I
can still hear the sound from my tv card??? Which means it's not using
the line out line??

How can I turn the sound back to normal? Does anyone has the same
problem?
